Biography: I was born in Brooklyn, New York and graduated from Queens College (CUNY) with a BA in History.
I spent the next 14 years in Guatemala where I had two sons who now live in NY. I returned to the states in 1984 and received my MSW in 1988.
Since then I've worked in a psych unit, a group home for chemically dependent adolescents, an outpatient family therapy center, an inpatient physical rehab,
a pain center, a reactive attachment disorder center, maximum security prison and the Director of the Service-Learning Department at SFCC.
Since 1988 I've taught classes at the college and developed all the addiction classes. I have both an LISW and a LADAC license.
