"Everyone thought it was amazing when I said that I like having classes online. I really do! I think its so convenient and fun. I do miss some of the social interaction but I don't think its any more difficult than taking classes out at the school. I think that I've actually learned more in this class than the on campus class at SFCC. I also think that I enjoy being able to apply a lot of the knowledge from this class to my everyday life."

"Due to the fact that I live in an isolated area and to attend the nearest University it would require a two hour drive to the University, take the class, and then, a two hour return trip. Since I am currently a caretaker of an individual as well as animals and property, my time is limited. An online course has been great for me! I appreciate the time you take to individualize our instruction."

"There is a large amount of information that I had not previously looked at in such great detail, i.e., specific models of addiction; co-occurring disorders and addiction. I appreciate this on-line format for class. I am somewhat sort of close to finishing my requirements for the LADAC test and again, if I had to show up in a classroom once or twice a week I would be very hard pressed to give up my time with my son."

"In all honesty I never imagined an online class to be this intense and informative. This is one of the best classes that I have taken. But for me learning is enjoyable, I mean I am here because I made a choice to learn more about Alcohol and Drugs and reasons people take them and the effects and the best way for me to do this is through an online class, and this class is; how should I say it...Awesome.
